The A’s of Herts Classic Mini Owners Club was established in 1992, in the United Kingdom, by a group of Classic Mini enthusiasts who wanted to create a community for owners and enthusiasts of the iconic British car. The club was founded with the goal of bringing together Classic Mini owners, sharing knowledge, experiences, and supporting each other in the maintenance and restoration of their vehicles.
The club quickly gained popularity among Classic Mini owners, and by the end of 1992, it had over 200 members. The club’s first official event was held in May 1993, which was a Mini run to Stratford-upon-Avon. Since then, the club has held numerous events, including rallies, shows, and track days, where members can showcase their Classic Minis, meet other enthusiasts, and share their passion for the iconic car.
Over the years, the A’s of Herts Mini Owners Club has grown to become one of the largest Classic Mini clubs in the United Kingdom, with members from all over the country. The club has also expanded its activities, offering technical advice, support, and guidance to members, as well as access to discounted parts via partnerships within the Mini Community.
In 2017, the AH Classic Mini Owners Club celebrated its 25th anniversary, marking a significant milestone for the club and its members. Today, the club continues to thrive, bringing together Classic Mini enthusiasts from all walks of life, and providing a community for those who share a love for the iconic British car.
Most recently, in 2023, the club has updated its name to the A’s Mini Owner Club. The name change came about to keep the heritage of the A series engine, Which was in the original name of the A’s of Herts but moved away from the location-specific aspect of the club name.

The membership fee is due annually every June.

The London to Brighton Mini run. As a member you get the tickets before they go on sale to everyone else.
Discounted tickets to the Knebworth classic car show on August bank holiday, and occasionally some limited free tickets for other events.
We try to organise club convoys to most of the popular shows throughout the year and the opportunity to show off your pride and joy on our club stand!
As well as conveys to show the club also arrange our own tours and driving days throughout the year.

There’s a wealth of mini owners in the club with an enormous amount of experience of owning and running Minis.
We can show you how to mod it, how to restore it and how to fix it.
Although we are predominately a classic Mini Owners Club, we don’t discriminate between new and old Mini. If you have an interest in anything Mini you’re welcome.
You don’t even need to own a Mini to join, but we’re pretty sure once the Mini bug has bitten, you’ll soon want to get one!
